Prabhakar Ananthaswamy Ramana Way for Freedom Absolute…

While the spiritual masters take the inward journey, the scientist and technologist chose the outward. Ever since the advent of mankind this search is continuing eternally. When one converges to a point of zero dimension one would have diverged to an infinite dimension. The inward journey or the search sooner or later ceases when one has converged to that state where one would be operating in an expanded plane of consciousness. In the outward journey, one is diverging only to further diverge a… Continue

Prabhakar Ananthaswamy Pursue ‘Sri Rama’ as Real Treasure…

Sri Rama is looked upon with awe for his exalted charm, and ideal characteristics that his very being emanates; we accept him as a divine being and approach his divinity for our needs, wants, security and happiness. Human beings are running from pillar to post in search of wealth. This is different for different beings - knowledge, money, power, position, name, sex, relationship, skill-set etc. We pursue these for it gives us an illusion of security. Unfortunately neither these mundane things n… Continue

Eric Putkonen The First Twin Cities Conference on Awakening

The 1st Twin Cities Conference on Awakening Saturday, May 30th 12 Noon – 5 PM “Many people think that enlightenment is an altered state of consciousness. Actually, what we perceive every day through the distorted lens of ego is the truly altered state – we see things that don’t exist, we believe things that aren’t happening, and we live in a false world of our own creation.” ~ Adyashanti, The… Continue

Eric Putkonen Out of Our Minds (nonduality focused podcast) celebrates 1 years of production and....

OUT OF OUR MINDS Celebrating One Year of Production and The 25th Episode There are not many podcasts or magazines for those interested in nonduality or enlightenment, and most were too long and verbose in Eric Putkonen’s opinion. In this day and age, who has time to read long articles and watch or listen to long programs? So, Eric started producing in Minnesota and publishing online a bi-weekly podcast last year that is only about fifteen minutes in length. The podcast focuses on nonduality and… Continue

Eric Putkonen Episode 10 of Out of Our Minds has been published!

Thought I would let everyone know, as episode 10 is kind of a landmark for podcasters.

It is titled, "Nonduality and the Mobius Strip".

Show notes:

We think we are separate from the world...that we have what is inside us and what is outside us, but in reality we are akin to a mobius strip. Because we have not realized the "twist", we do not recognize that there is no outside. There really no separation, which would require a barrier with more than one side. Nonduality i

Dasbodh: Chapter 8, Sub-chapter 7; Explanation of Liberation

Ram NON-DUAL BRAHMAN

If anyone, as soon as he realizes Brahman, falls like a log of wood, who would be there afterwards to show the way to Liberation? Who would impart Knowledge to others, and who could have even taught that man in the first place? If he lies in samadhi like a wooden log, who would teach others? All Knowledge would have been lost. While explaining, one has to tal

Solar Eagle Q and A with Solar Eagle

Q: The main problem my uncle is having is the fact that no matter how much he pray's it doesn't seem that anything ever happens.

A: God may not always give us what we want, when we want it, but he always gives us what we need, when we need it.

Q: Can you give an example of what you mean?

A: Sometimes people’s wants are different than their needs. We can’t always see what is for the highest good.

Dale Wojahn Picture this

Is it Ironic to place the image of my physicallity in this space. And, will it appear the same to you as a mirror shows me. Who will I become based on what you "see"? You think therefore I am. Or is it We think therefore We are. Continue

Solar Eagle The transcending circle of the One

I exist in polarity as twelve poles, a clock like circle of twelve points, and I exist in Unity as the thirteenth point at the center of the circle, though the circle of twelve exists within the thirteenth point at the center.

From the perspective of my self in Unity as the thirteenth point I exist in polarity all around my self, though each pole is balanced by its opposite as the One in the middle, which is my self as the thirteenth point.

I stand as

danielsannel space

Do you ever notice, how effortlessly the mind focuses on form.As soon as you open your eyes in the morning the mind focuses on form. Then the thinking mind comes in (ego) and starts to judge and compare what ever kind of form is being looked at.What Im trying to point is that there so much more space than form but the space is often over looked for the form. Its like looking at a wall with bunch of dots painted all over it.When you look at the wall all you see are the dots, but in reality there is m… Continue

danielsannel Who is there to comment?

Who is there to comment or to write? There is no speaker or writer, words just come of the source. No matter how wise the words are spoken or how elegantly written there just words. Although they are pointers to the truth, but this is were it can get sticky since the mind cannot grasp the truth.Truth or the self is beyond mind,The mind tends to take these pointers and holds unto these words as truth. Then the mind starts judging and comparing these pointers and missing what is being pointed at.The s… Continue

Eric Putkonen I've heard the Midwest is a dead-zone for Satsang

I thought it would be nice to start building a network of people. Over time, we could keep each other informed of Satsangs in the Midwest. I have heard of a few in Chicago...I know I offer Satsangs biweekly in Minnetonka, but are there more? Who is interested in Satsang? With a big enough group, perhaps we could (eventually) coordinate an event by sponsering someone out of the Midwest to come here...who knows.

So this Social Network was created to help facilitate and actual communi
